LYNA ("LYNA", "we", "us") is developed and operated by Muhammad Ahmad Shahzad, an individual developer based in Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what information LYNA collects through the LYNA iOS app and the lyna.world website, why we collect it, and who we share it with. This policy is written to describe exactly what LYNA does today — not a generic template.
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and password. Authentication is handled by our database provider, Supabase — your password is stored by Supabase in hashed form and LYNA never sees or stores it in plain text.
Brand profile information. To generate content for your business, LYNA collects the details you provide about your brand: business name, industry, tone of voice, brand colors, a description of your business, your preferred visual style, the types of posts you want, and any "things to avoid" you specify. If you upload a logo or reference images, we store those images too.
Generated content. LYNA stores the captions, hashtags, and images it generates for you, along with the prompts used to generate them, their publish status, and any scheduling information you set.
Instagram connection. If you choose to connect Instagram, that connection is handled by our publishing partner, Zernio, via Instagram's own OAuth login — LYNA never sees or stores your Instagram password. We store an identifier for your connected Zernio account and your Instagram handle so LYNA knows where to publish. When you publish or schedule a post, the image, caption, and hashtags you approve are sent to Zernio, which posts them to your connected Instagram account.
Subscription and purchase information. LYNA's paid plans are sold exclusively through Apple's In-App Purchase system. LYNA never sees or stores your payment card details — Apple handles all billing directly. We store your current plan (Free, Basic, or Pro), how many free generations/edits and daily images you've used, when your daily limit resets, when your subscription expires, and an Apple-issued transaction identifier used to verify your subscription is genuine and active.
Advertising data. Free and Basic plan users see ads served by Google AdMob. LYNA does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) — ads are non-personalized and not linked to your LYNA account or identity. Google may still collect limited technical data (such as approximate location derived from IP address, device type, and ad interaction events) to serve and measure these non-personalized ads and to prevent fraud, under Google's own privacy policy.
Usage data. We keep basic technical records needed to run the app: timestamps of account creation, content creation, and plan-limit counters. We do not use any separate analytics or crash-reporting service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your brand or content data to train any AI model.
LYNA relies on the following service providers to operate. Each only receives the data it needs to perform its function:
We do not share your information with any other third party, and we do not share data with data brokers or for cross-app/ cross-site advertising purposes.
We keep your account, brand profile, and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your brand profile and generated content from our systems, other than records we're required to keep (for example, transaction records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
You can edit your brand profile at any time from Settings. To request a copy of your data, or to request that your account and data be deleted, email us at ahmed3621shahzad@gmail.com. We will act on deletion requests within a reasonable time.
LYNA is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the app and our servers, database-level access controls (Supabase row-level security) that restrict your data to your own account, and server-side verification of every subscription purchase directly with Apple rather than trusting the app alone.
LYNA is operated from Pakistan. The service providers listed above are based in, or process data in, other countries (including the United States). By using LYNA, you understand your information may be processed outside of your home country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of LYNA after a change means you accept the updated policy.
